Fake Ryanair Ticket Scam - Don't get caught out!

Yet another Free Ticket Scam on Facebook

This seems to be a scam that is working. So far we've seen a Ryanair, Disneyland, Legoland and Aerlingus version. Please don't get caught out. If it's too good to be true, it probably is. On Facebook, if it's too good to be true, it DEFINITELY is. 

How can I tell that it's a scam?

Check the website address at the bottom. Each of the scams has the same format - in this case RYANAIR.COM-FREECHANCE.COM. If it was genuine, then it will come from Ryanair.com, without the rest of the address added on. 

What is the scam?

At best, this is used to data farm - to collect as many profile details as possible for marketing purposes. At worst, everyone that liked the page will get a message telling them to click on a link to collect their prize - DON'T CLICK ON THE LINK! You may very quickly lose control of your device to ransomware or malware.

What should I do if I've liked and shared this already?

Simply click on the like button again and it will "un-like" the post, and if you've shared it then go to your homepage and delete the post from there. Don't forget to share this alert with anyone you think might have clicked on this, or any other scam links.
