All Apple Macs potentially compromised by huge Spyware hack.
Urgent update released for Mac Users!
Just a few days ago, we reported here that Apple users were advised to immediately download a patch for their iOS devices. It now appear that the very same flaw allows hackers to gain control of Mac computers and laptops using a similar Pegasus malware installation.
The urgent security update is for OS El Capitan, OS X Yosemite and the Safari browser and it is recommended that users download it immediately.
Why is this so important?
This patch prevents users losing control of their devices with a single click on a malicious link, one of the most dangerous types of hack as there is no warning of what is about to happen!
What do I need to do?
Go to the App store from your Mac, click on Updates in the top right centre of the screen. You'll see the update there.
You might not see the update if you have updates set to download automatically. If it's not there, then your device is covered.
